Christ Believing Partner

In the Bible it says that "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2Corinthians 6:14" I know this Bible verse is really familiar with every Christian young believer; for they keep this in their minds in choosing their lifetime partner.

This remind me of a lecture in one of the youth fellowship camping held in the beautiful island here on my place. The lecturer was not yet married at that time but he is already engaged to the woman he chose to live with for the rest of his life. In his discussion, he emphasized that courtship is an introduction to marriage. That's why you should be sure that the one you are planning to court is a Christian believer and it should be the one you will marry. The other lecturer added that you must have a list of your prospects so you won't have hard time in choosing the right one and it will come out to be easier if you will just choose from the aquarium. The time he said "aquarium", he means "in the same belief" or simply means fellow believers.

Why do their advices are like these? It's because no one could ever compare to a Christ believing partner. The more your beliefs are alike, the better. The more you'll grow spiritually together. No doubt both of you will be a good lifetime partners as long as you have the same faith to God. The more you will love God, the more you will become sweeter.
