Dating Till Wedding Ready

We know that dating is somewhat like knowing each other. In fact, some believe it is an introduction to marriage. Christian girls are very careful in choosing their man. For choosing the man for a Christian lady is important. Giving her best is as important as that. That is why for them, evaluating their self is quite a requirement to know if she is ready to get married to their best match man.

Here are some suggested pointers of knowing that you’re ready for marriage.



1.       Am I ready to follow/humble myself to my future husband?
2.       Do I have proven character, and am I growing in godliness?
3.       To whom and for what am I accountable?
4.       How am I involved in the church? What are my gifts and ministry areas? What are his?
5.       Are my motives for pursuing marriage selfish and worldly, or are they to honor God?
6.       Do I know how to budget?
7.       What do my pastors and parents have to say?

True Love Comes From Him

A friend from facebook posted the following statements in her status. I would just like to share it since I certainly agree with these. 

This is love: 

Not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another... 1 John 4: 10 - 11 

For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised... 2 Corinthians 5: 14 - 15 

Conclusion: 
In a relationship, every christian has an opportunity to love another person like God has loved us... not about "having a good time" or "learning what I want in a relationship.."
